​Strawberry Muhallabia 


Take 15 strawberries and chop them well. Add a 2 or 3 tbsps of sugar and cook until the water had dried up and the mixture thickens. Take 1 liter milk in a vessel.To it add 4 tbsps cornflour,1-1/2 tbsps heaped rice flour and 8 tbsps sugar (you can add more sugar). Mix it and switch on the flame. Cook the milk while stirring with a whisk continuously on a medium flame.After 8-10 minutes when the milk comes to a boil and thickens allow it to cook for another 2-3 minutes. Switch off the flame and add 1 tsp strawberry essence and 1/2 tsp orange blossom water. Mix well. If desired add 3 tbsps of heavy cream and mix well. Allow it to cool and then add the prepared strawberry purée to it. Mix well. Assembling and Serving sprinkle a layer of pistachio powder and pour Muhallabia on it and sprinkle pistachio powder again.Also add a few almond flakes, strawberry pieces and pour strawberry sauce on it if you like it to be extra sweet.
